Sasha Stolasz is a fiddle player from Sisters, Oregon. Introduced to traditional music at the age of four by their mother, she grew up going to music camps throughout America and she attributes those experiences to the musician that she is today. These camps let her experience a variety of traditional styles including Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian, Old-Time and a smattering of others. Her love of music also brought her to the cello and the banjo. She recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh and has spent two years exploring the traditional music scene of Scotland. While in Scotland she had the opportunity to play at Celtic Connections and became a member of the University of Edinburgh Folk and Traditional Music Society committee. She enjoys playing for contra dances with her band Round Robin Round and she teaches a wide variety of styles across age ranges and ability levels.
